Crushing - Success

SHERIDAN: Quinn and I went ice skating! I won’t lie. I’ve had a skating lesson or two.
QUINN: Sheridan knows some pretty impressive tricks!
SHERIDAN: I know how to push off a wall, how to stop by falling, and sometimes, when I trip, how to have both my skates leave the ice. It’s almost like a jump! The lessons were a long time ago…
QUINN: Okay, so maybe Sheridan’s skating skills are on par with a two-year-old learning how to walk, but Sheridan looked awfully cute out there on the ice!

* * *

LAURIE: Ollie and I went on a helicopter tour. It was scary at first, but once we got high up, it was beautiful!
OLLIE: Being with Laurie makes me feel like I’m flying, no matter what we’re doing.
LAURIE: We were able to spot Ollie’s house!
OLLIE: I wish I could fly a helicopter. Getting to school would be so fun! And quick!

* * *

BAILEY: Indiana and I went to a comedy club!
INDIANA: The comics were hilarious! Bailey and I were laughing all the way home!
BAILEY: Our friends keep giving us weird looks when we try to retell the jokes… guess you had to be there!
INDIANA: I like having all these inside jokes now with Bailey! Can’t wait for our next date!

* * *

CAMERON: Georgie and I went to a tea room. I was skeptical since tea parties aren’t exactly my, well, ‘cup of tea’. Everything at a tea party is tiny! Tiny teacups, tiny sandwiches, tiny cookies… how am I supposed to make a meal out of that?
GEORGIE: But Cameron was so overwhelmed with joy when they came out with several three-tiered trays of food!
CAMERON: Do you know how many tiny sandwiches that is?!

* * *

FINLEY: Payton and I went to see a play at the local theater.
PAYTON: We were so impressed with the show! The actors were outstanding!
FINLEY: Afterwards, I wanted to talk to them in person, so I got us backstage.
PAYTON: Thanks to Finley’s smooth skills, we got to meet the lead actor in the play!

* * *

FINLEY: Payton drove me to a cherry farm to go cherry picking.
PAYTON: We made it a competition to see who could pick the most fruit…
FINLEY: I totally won. No matter what Payton says.
PAYTON: There was some questionable counting, so I think I won. But that didn’t matter so much when we both got to eat some delicious cherry tarts!

* * *

BAILEY: Indiana took me out to go play billiards!
INDIANA: I personally showed Bailey the proper form for a perfect shot!
BAILEY: Secretly, I’ve been playing pool for years, but it was cute watching Indiana teach!
INDIANA: Bailey picked up the game, like, really fast! Am I that good of a teacher?

* * *

JULIAN: Autumn took me to the local farmer’s market this afternoon. It was huge!
AUTUMN: And there were samples everywhere! We sampled so many strawberries and peaches and melons that we were stuffed!
JULIAN: With food in our stomachs and the sun out, we were more than ready to take naps by the end of it!
AUTUMN: Too bad we couldn’t find the mattress market afterwards!

* * *

PAYTON: Finley took me to the theme park, and I’ll admit, I was kinda scared to go on the roller coasters that went upside down…
FINLEY: So I held Payton’s hand through the whole ride.
PAYTON: It… was… amazing! I immediately dragged Finley back in line!
FINLEY: We ended up going on it another fifteen times! I bought the souvenir snapshot of us making funny faces during the barrel roll.

* * *

OLLIE: Laurie’s favorite actor was shooting a big blockbuster in the city, so we went to watch them film.
LAURIE: A producer grabbed me and Ollie off the street to be extras in the movie! So cool!
OLLIE: In this one take, Laurie photobombed the star! Or movie-bombed, I guess.
LAURIE: Better practice my Oscar acceptance speech!

* * *

BAILEY: I couldn’t believe Indiana had never seen my favorite TV show!
INDIANA: I don’t watch much TV. Yeah, I know. It’s weird.

BAILEY: We watched my favorite episode! And my second favorite episode! And my third!
INDIANA: Don’t tell Bailey, but the show is all right… I watched them because… well, I like Bailey.

* * *

FINLEY: I just took Payton out on a fishing trip. Honestly, I just planned to relax in a boat all afternoon…
PAYTON: It was really peaceful… until I caught the hugest fish I’d ever seen! It was almost as big as me! But after we took a picture, I felt really bad keeping it… poor fish never hurt anybody…
FINLEY: So we set it free!
PAYTON: I made a new finned friend AND had a great date with Finley. Life is good!

* * *

AUTUMN: I took Julian to my favorite place on earth… the water park!
JULIAN: The lines were long, and I got cold, but Autumn hugged me to warm me up!
AUTUMN: My favorite part was floating down the lazy river. We had the best conversation!
JULIAN: They should call it the flirting river!

* * *

OLLIE: I went ice skating with Laurie.
LAURIE: I’ve never been ice skating, so I was nervous. But it turns out, Ollie was just as bad as me!
OLLIE: How can I put this? We had the most romantic date possible… While clutching each other for fear of breaking our butts.
LAURIE: Ollie says ‘butt’ a lot. It makes me giggle.

* * *

GEORGIE: When Cameron invited me to a natural history museum, I was honestly afraid I’d be bored out of my mind.
CAMERON: That’s when I impressed Georgie with my awesome knowledge of dinosaur trivia…
GEORGIE: Cameron told me which dinosaurs were the best dancers, which would be the best to ride, which had the best credit scores…
CAMERON: It’s science, really.
GEORGIE: All right, fine. I guess no place is boring when your date is as adorable as Cameron.

* * *

GEORGIE: When Cameron suggested we go to a classical concert, my first thought was ‘Ugh.’ ...it was also my second and third thoughts.
CAMERON: Classical has a way of growing on you, so I knew it was just a matter of time before Georgie became a fan…
GEORGIE: I actually loved it! The violin was so hauntingly beautiful, it made me cry! It also made me think… maybe there are other things Cameron could introduce me to.
CAMERON: Just the thought of spending more time with Georgie fills my heart with music!

* * *

PAYTON: When Finley took me to a poetry reading… I was expecting to pass out from boredom!
FINLEY: The trick to enjoying poetry is to secretly come up with rhymes for every line.
PAYTON: So when the poet said, ‘This abandoned hole I feel, this empty grotto...’
FINLEY: I whispered to Payton, ‘Would he like a taco?’
PAYTON: Hee! Finley is like a rapper! Who rhymes ‘grotto’ with ‘taco’?!
FINLEY: Yeah… we’ll definitely have another date! Until then, we salivate!

* * *

AUTUMN: You should’ve seen the opera hall Julian took me to! It’s like everything was gilded with gold!
JULIAN: Autumn loved the performance. Talk about ‘Romance’ languages!
AUTUMN: Everyone’s voice was amazing. The aria even brought Julian to tears!
JULIAN: Nuh uh! I just… had something in my eye! Okay, fine! I’m not ashamed! It was REALLY good!
