Level Twelve

JULIAN: Yo! Addison! We need to talk, now!

[ Have 2 Upgraded Jock Hangouts | None | 3300xp ]

JULIAN: We just got word from the third member of the board, Mr. Javellana. He’s an ex-basketball star, a huge sports nut… and he wants to check out our sports program firsthand.
ADDISON: Do we have any sporting events coming up?
JULIAN: Mr. Javellana took care of that for us. Apparently, he’s all buddy-buddy with the principal at Hearst, so they worked out an exhibition match… A co-ed basketball game against Hearst High.
ADDISON: A basketball game, huh? That shouldn’t be too bad, right? We just need to recruit some players. I’m up for it.
AUTUMN: I’m in. I’ve actually played a little basketball…
ADDISON: Julian? You’re our star athlete… we can count on you, right?
JULIAN: Uh, I hate to break this to you, Addison, but I’m not a basketball guy. Football is really more my thing. And those skills don’t really translate, unless you want me tackling dudes on the court…
MIA: And there’s one more thing. Max is kind of a big basketball star at Hearst High.
ADDISON: Uh oh.
MIA: Yeah. He’s been playing since he was six! I’ve had to suffer through his stupid games for years. My dad always makes me go watch. At this point, I’ve seriously watched enough games that I could coach a team…
ADDISON: Oh really?
MIA: Uh oh. This is going to end in you asking me to coach the team, isn’t it?
ADDISON: Will you do it?
MIA: Only if I get to yell and boss people around! First, I’m going to need some assistants. And before you go around just grabbing random people… I have some VERY specific requirements.

[ A Level 5+ Student Gov, A Level 5+ Filmmaker, A Level 5+ Gamer (Hadley, Morgan, Kennedy) | 7h | 3300xp ]

MORGAN: Hey, Addison! We’re here and ready to help!
MIA: Excellent. You can start by setting up a camera over there to film everything. When we’re ready to scrimmage, you can record everything so we can study it later.
KENNEDY: What should I do?
MIA: Start looking over these plays I’ve been working on. Basketball is a game, after all. Oh, and then go get me a pumpkin spice latte.
HADLEY: And what about me?
MIA: You’re the towel boy. You see all those dirty towels on the floor? Wash them!
HADLEY: Uh, really? That’s what you want me to do?
MIA: No, I want a towel boy to paint my nails and bake me a cake! Go! Towels! Wash! Okay, looks like everything’s set up… Julian, Autumn, Addison… are you ready to start your training?
ADDISON: Ready to go.
JULIAN: How hard could this be?
Julian grabs the ball and runs, shoving you aside! You freeze and fall down!
AUTUMN: Addison! Are you okay?
ADDISON: Nothing hurt except my pride…
Julian runs up to the hoop and throws the ball. It crashes off the backboard. Mia loudly blows her coach’s whistle!
MIA: Wrong, wrong, WRONG! Julian, you’re traveling. Remember, you’re supposed to dribble! And you’re throwing that ball like it’s a football. You’re never going to make a basket that way.
JULIAN: Sorry. Old habits die hard.
MIA: Well, I’m going to help put them out of their misery. Give me twenty laps around the court, and dribble the ball while you run!
Mia passes another basketball to Autumn.
MIA: Art girl! You’re up! Let’s see what you can do.
Autumn easily catches the ball, dribbles down the court, and gracefully lobs the ball into the hoop.
AUTUMN: Easy!
MIA: Autumn… you’re… actually… good.
AUTUMN: My dad’s a big basketball fan. Playing one-on-one is basically the only father-daughter bonding we do.
MIA: Yeah, well, you’ve got good aim, but you need to work on your speed. You could use some work too, Addison. Sprints up and down the court! Now!
AUTUMN: Wow, I didn’t realize Mia could be so… hardcore.
ADDISON: At least she’s on our side.
NISHAN: Mia, Addison… so… sports aren’t exactly my ‘thing’, but I do want to help. Is there anything you need that’s not so much focused on the running and sweating part of basketball?
PAYTON: Yeah, what can I do to help?
MIA: Well… I know Max is always buying really expensive shoes because they’re supposed to help him run faster and jump higher.
ADDISON: That’s a great idea! Nishan, think you could make some super shoes?
NISHAN: Do lobsters have blue blood? ...they do.
PAYTON: And I’ll help.
NISHAN: Really? You… want to help with this experiment?
PAYTON: You had me at ‘shoes’.

[ Spend 120000 coins | None | 3300xp ]

NISHAN: Hey, sports fellows… I’ve got something to show you. Trust me. You’re going to like this. Here, shoes for everyone!
JULIAN: Whoa! These shoes are awesome. What’s this mushy stuff in the middle?
NISHAN: That’s my special bouncy goo. I’ll call it B-Goo. Or maybe GooB. Patent pending. It’s specifically designed to make you jump higher. To put more spring in your step and all that.
PAYTON: AND they’re fashionable. I used color blocking and our school colors to…
JULIAN: Yeah, whatever, they’re a color. Look how high I can jump!
PAYTON: Sigh.
AUTUMN: I just got a text from Wes. He wants to talk to me.
JULIAN: That guy? Again?
AUTUMN: I know you don’t trust him, but he DID help us figure out what Max was up to.
JULIAN: By luring us into Max’s trap!
AUTUMN: Wes gets very specific results.
JULIAN: Well, let’s just say I don’t trust his ‘very specific’ way of doing things.
AUTUMN: Look, if he says he needs to talk, then I’m going to meet him.
JULIAN: At least take some muscle with you.

[ Julian, A Classmate except Autumn, A Level 7+ Classmate except Autumn (Indiana, Kennedy) | 10h | 2500c, 3300xp ]

KENNEDY: Heard you needed some backup.
AUTUMN: I think Julian’s being paranoid, but it can’t hurt…
ADDISON: Exactly.
INDIANA: Better to be prepared, right?
KENNEDY: Let’s get this show on the road!
WES: Nice entourage, Autumn. I’m starting to think you don’t trust me.
AUTUMN: Can you blame me, Wes? After what happened last time?
WES: Yeah, well, has it ever occurred to all of you that I’m spending all this time trying to keep your school OUT of trouble? Speaking of which… I want you to cancel the basketball game.
JULIAN: Is this your scheme? Trying to get us to blow our one chance to save our school?
WES: You really don’t trust me.
ADDISON: No offense, but I’m with Julian. If we cancel this game, we might as well shut down our school.
WES: You’ll come up with some other way to show the board member that your school deserves a shot. Trust me, you are not winning this game. I’ve heard Max and Kara talking. They’re going to play dirty. I don’t want anyone to get hurt.
Wes looks at Autumn pointedly.
AUTUMN: I’m not afraid of them.
WES: I’m serious. Don’t play in this game. It’s going to get ugly.
JULIAN: Ugly like, say, that time you tricked us into getting mayo dumped on our heads?
WES: I got you the info you needed. I’d say getting a little dirty was a small price to pay for learning Max’s plan, wouldn’t you? You want to ignore me now? Fine. It’s your loss.
Wes turns and storms off.
ADDISON: That… could have gone better.
AUTUMN: I think Wes WAS just trying to look out for us. What should we do?
JULIAN: How is this even a question? We gotta play. If we back out now, we might as well shut down our school ourselves. It’ll look like our school can’t even participate in a recreational basketball game!
AUTUMN: You’re right. I know you’re right. I just… I don’t like it.
ADDISON: I don’t like it either, but we don’t have a choice. We’ve just got to be ready for whatever they throw at us. It’s almost time for the game! Nervous?
AUTUMN: Kinda.
JULIAN: Don’t stress. We’re going to win.
PAYTON: Well, there’s just one thing left. We better make sure we’ve got enough people in this school to pack the stands!

[ Have 25 Classmates | None | 3300xp ]

PAYTON: Awesome! Everyone’s here!
ADDISON: The stands are packed!
AUTUMN: Hey, Addison! I just saw Mr. Javellana! He’s sitting in the front row! Looks like it’s game time!
MIA: Okay, team. This is it. The big game. It all comes down to this.
AUTUMN: Ooh, a pep talk! I’ve seen these in movies. Are you going to tell us to have fun and remember our love of the game?
MIA: Hmm… what does my dad always say to Max? Oh yeah… In this house, we’re WINNERS. What do we train for? To WIN. If you want hugs and cuddles, go live with your mother!
AUTUMN: That was…
ADDISON: Unexpected.
MIA: Too much?
ADDISON: Maybe just a little.
MIA: Oh, fine. I guess just go have FUN or whatever, and if it’s not too much trouble, think about trying to win. Y’know, to save our school.

[ Addison, Julian, Autumn | 9h | 3300xp ]

Addison, Julian, and Autumn take the court, facing off against Max and Kara.
MAX: Well, well. A football player and an artist in the starting lineup. So this is what the bottom of the barrel looks like.
KARA: Sounds more like the setup for a dumb joke… ‘Little Miss Artistic and the Dumb Football Guy walk into a basketball game...’ I don’t know what the punchline is, but it probably involves them making out!
JULIAN: Hey!
MAX: Don’t worry, Kara. I’m sure they’ll be too busy awkwardly flirting to actually play ball.
AUTUMN: What? I… I mean…
MIA: Back off, Max. I’m coaching them. And they’re good.
MAX: Mia?
KARA: I should’ve known you’d really enjoy the whole traitor thing.
MIA: Save it for the game. Okay, team. This is it. Ready? On three…
JULIAN: One…
AUTUMN: Two…
ADDISON: Three!
MIA: Okay, Addison. I want you in for the jump ball. Tip it towards Julian!
The referee throws the ball in the air! You jump for it and… You freeze! Kara tips the ball to Max!
MAX: Heh, too slow, Addison!
ADDISON: Oops.
MIA: Come on, Addison! Get it together!
Julian runs over towards Max, but Max slams his shoulder into Julian, knocking him down, then runs past him and scores an easy layup.
MAX: Did you see that bucket?!
MIA: Ref? Where were you on that one? Ugh.
AUTUMN: Julian, are you okay? That looked brutal.
JULIAN: I’m fine. Wes warned us they’d play dirty.
MIA: Hustle up, team!
Autumn throws the ball into Julian. He dribbles the ball back to your team’s end of the court, and passes the ball to you! You choke! The ball flies past you, and Kara snags it.
KARA: Got it!
Kara dribbles back up the court and nails an outside jumper!
MIA: Get it together out there! Come on, Addison! Focus!
An hour later… the game is still going! Autumn sinks shot after shot, but your team is still down by two points with the scoreboard reading 58 to 56. Julian drives around Max and dunks the ball!
JULIAN: Wow, Max, for a basketball superstar, this game’s awful close…
MAX: Not for long.
Max shoots Kara a look. She nods.
AUTUMN: I’ve got this, Addison!
Autumn catches the ball and dribbles it down the court… when Kara hooks her foot around Autumn’s ankle and shoves her!
AUTUMN: Aaaaaah!
Autumn falls, and her head slams hard against the floor! The ref blows his whistle, and the game stops. Julian runs to Autumn’s side.
JULIAN: Autumn! Autumn, can you hear me? Autumn, please, open your eyes.
ADDISON: Autumn…
AUTUMN: Wha… what happened? Julian?
JULIAN: You’re gonna be okay. It’s gonna be okay.
Back in the locker room…
MIA: Autumn’s going to get checked out by the school nurse. I think she’ll be fine… I hate to say it, but maybe we shouldn’t finish the game.
JULIAN: Are you crazy? We can’t let them get away with this!
MIA: Look, I don’t want to see anyone else get hurt! You don’t understand Max. Maybe it’s better if we give it up.
JULIAN: No! No quitter talk. I’m not going to let them get away with hurting Autumn. We can’t let them get away with that. Addison, tell me you’re with me.
ADDISON: Julian… Winning won’t help Autumn. I know you’re upset, but…
JULIAN: So that’s it? You’d rather do nothing? I’m going out there to win. So how about it, Mia? We’ve got enough time left for one more basket. Who takes the shot?
MIA: You want me to decide? No way! I already feel bad enough about Autumn getting hurt! Addison, this is your school. You make the call.

[ A Classmate except Autumn and Mia (Cameron) | 18h | 5000c, 3200xp ]

CAMERON: I’m ready. Let’s…
Suddenly, the door to the locker room opens… and Wes strides in!
WES: I warned you. I told you to stay out of the game. I told you they were going to play dirty.
Wes slams the locker room door behind him and walks to the center of the room.
ADDISON: Wes… what are you doing here?
WES: They crossed the line. I’m here to help you take them down. I’ve been watching them practice. I know their tells.
JULIAN: Yeah? So what do we do?
WES: Just listen. Kara’s terrified of getting hit in her beautiful face. If you fake like you’re going to throw the ball at her, she’ll break. As for Max, when he’s dribbling, he sticks out his tongue every time he’s about to crossover from one hand to the other. Just wait for that to happen, and you should be able to steal it from him, easy.
CAMERON: Any tips on how to avoid getting pummeled?
WES: Easy. Be the fastest one out there.
CAMERON: Sure… ‘Easy.’
And so, a few minutes later… the ref whistles to resume the game. Kara inbounds the ball to Max! He dribbles the ball… and sticks out his tongue! Cameron reaches out and snags the ball from Max!
MAX: Hey!
Max lunges for Cameron, but Cameron spins around and runs down the court.
KARA: You won’t get past me.
Kara looms in front of Cameron! Cameron fakes throwing the ball at her face!
KARA: Eek!
Kara ducks, covering her face. Cameron jumps and shoots the ball. It sails gracefully through the air… and sinks perfectly into the basket!
CAMERON: Yes!
JULIAN: Nothing but net! We win!
MAX: Arrgggh! Unbelievable! This is all your fault, Kara!
KARA: My fault? You’re the one that let them steal the ball, hotshot!
MIA: I’d say it sounds like the better team won!
MAX: This isn’t over…
WES: Actually, it is. I heard Mr. Javellana saying he was impressed by Addison’s team… they’ve got his vote.
ADDISON: Looks like our school’s safe for another day.

Crushing - Failure

JULIAN: Autumn and I went to the carnival that had just come into town! There were so many attractions to choose from! But we decided to go into the maze of mirrors first!
AUTUMN: It looked like a hard maze, but Julian and I promised not to let go of one another…
JULIAN: Aaand we separated in the first hall when Autumn turned a corner too fast.
AUTUMN: When I looked back, I didn’t see anyone behind me! I had NO idea where Julian was...

Sweethearts - Success

GEORGIE: Cameron had a BIG surprise for me… a day in a hot air balloon!
CAMERON: We spent the day floating above the city. We could even see the school from up there!
GEORGIE: It made me realize just how small we are in this huge world… and how cute Cameron’s hair is in the wind!
CAMERON: Such a great time! I don’t think either of us wanted to come down!

* * *

GEORGIE: We volunteered to help the school’s environmental club plant a community garden. At first, it sounded like a lot of hard work…
CAMERON: But we ended up having a blast! Georgie made up really funny backstories about the fruits and vegetables we were planting…
GEORGIE: ...let me tell you the epic tale of Tom the Tomato and Cucumber Kale!
CAMERON: Hee hee. Georgie and I have another date all lined up next spring to see our flowers bloom!

Bring the Cheer

[ Have 1 Prep Hangout, Have 1 Jock Hangout | None | 100c ]

EMERY: Give me an H… give me an E… give me a Y… what does that spell?
ADDISON: ...’hey’?
EMERY: Hey yourself, Addison! I just wanted to let you know, there’s a big cheerleading competition coming up, and I think our school should enter!
ADDISON: Sounds fun!
EMERY: Unfortunately, there’s one tiny problem. We don’t have a winning squad! But I’m sure that if you and I worked together, we could fix that in no time. Will you help?
ADDISON: Of course!
EMERY: Now the first thing our squad needs is an open space to hold tryouts for new recruits.

[ Add a plot of land | None | 200c ]

ADDISON: What do you think of the space I found?
EMERY: Oh, it’s perfect! I can stand here. The other cheerleaders can stand over there. And that leaves just enough room for ten bleachers full of adoring fans applauding when we win the big cheer competition!
ADDISON: Aren’t you getting ahead of yourself?
EMERY: I know, I know. I just like to psych myself up by visualizing what I want to achieve. Anyway, now that we’ve got a place for tryouts, we need to find some new recruits! What do you think? Should we throw a party to get the word out?
ADDISON: Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!
EMERY: We’ll need to invite the cheerleaders, of course. And also someone pleasingly athletic, with a body like a chiseled Greek statue…
ADDISON: Are you visualizing again?
EMERY: More like planning my evening!

[ Complete a Party with a Cheerleader | None | 300c ]

EMERY: The recruitment party was a huge success! We found a whole team’s worth of fit, trendy, talented cheerleaders and got them to try out!
ADDISON: That’s amazing!
EMERY: More like cheer-mazing!
ADDISON: Now that you’ve assembled the cheerleading squad, are you ready to start practicing for the big competition?
EMERY: Actually, there’s another problem. Having more cheerleaders on the squad means we’ll need more equipment, and we’re completely broke… We’re just going to have to figure out a way to raise money that is ABSOLUTELY NOT a date auction.
ADDISON: ...why not a date auction?
EMERY: Okay! Okay! Stop twisting my arm! We can throw a date auction. But I’m totally telling the cheerleaders it was your idea!

[ Complete a Successful Date with a Cheerleader | None | 400c ]

EMERY: OMG! The date auction was a huge success! I’m so glad I thought of it!
ADDISON: Did we make enough money to buy new cheerleading uniforms?
EMERY: Plus pom-poms! Plus matching shoes! Did you hear everything I just said?
ADDISON: Yeah… why?
EMERY: Because you’d hear it a whole lot louder through this brand new megaphone which we also just bought!
ADDISON: The competition is just around the corner. Have you settled on a routine to perform?
EMERY: Actually, now that you mention it, there’s been a problem planning the big finish. You’ve been so much help with everything else, do you think you might be able to solve a dispute between me and one of the other cheerleaders?
ADDISON: I can try my best…

[ Addison, Emery, A Cheerleader (Ollie) | 1h | 500c ]

ADDISON: Hey, Ollie, how’s it going? Emery tells me there’s some kind of problem.
OLLIE: There wouldn’t be if Emery would just let me be at the top of the pyramid already. I’m the smallest!
EMERY: But I’m the most experienced! I deserve to be at the top!
ADDISON: You both have good points…
OLLIE: Emery and I already discussed this, and we’re going to agree with whatever you decide.
ADDISON: Hmm… I’m going to need some time to think about this…
EMERY: Addison, the competition is about to start! Have you decided who will stand at the top of the pyramid?
OLLIE: Is it me, because I’m smaller?
EMERY: Or me, because I’m the most experienced?
OLLIE: Remember, we’ll go along with whatever decision you make.
ADDISON: I’ve given it some thought, and I think the person standing at the top of the pyramid should be… me.
EMERY: But… but… you want to stand at the top of the pyramid?
OLLIE: Do you have the right experience?
ADDISON: Does it matter? The person at the top mostly just has to smile and wave, right?
OLLIE: Well, there’s actually much more to cheerleading than that… but we DID promise to stand by any decision you made.
EMERY: And it looks like we’ll have to teach you… fast! The competition is starting up! Girls and guys, let’s take to the field!

[ A Classmate, Emery, A Guy Cheerleader (Briar, Nat) | 3h | 5r ]

EMERY: Cheerleaders, take your positions. We’re about to begin our routine! Ready, set--Uh… I’m totally blanking on the cheer! Addison, can you take this megaphone and start us off?
ADDISON: Me? But I don’t know your cheers…
EMERY: OMG, the music’s starting! Just say anything!
ADDISON: Uh, okay! In that case… I love kittens!
EMERY: Um, and warm winter mittens!
NAT: Watch our routines, and you’ll be smitten!
BRIAR: Good cheer, guys! Now everybody get in position for the big finish!
EMERY: And now we raise Addison to the top of the pyramid and…
ADDISON: TA-DAAAA!
NAT: Way to go! You really aced that last trick!
EMERY: And it looks like the judges agree! We won the cheerleading competition!
ADDISON: ...we did? That’s fantastic! Congratulations!
NAT: Turns out one of the judges also loves kitties! And the other judge really appreciates non sequiturs.
EMERY: And with the strength of our routine, we were a lock for first place! All of this is thanks to you, Addison. Without your help, we never could’ve won!
ADDISON: No problem! Any time!
NAT: Three cheers for Addison! Hurray! Hurray!
BRIAR: Hurray!

Step Up 2 Dance

[ Have 1 Jock Hangout, Have 1 Artist Hangout | None | 400c ]

SHERIDAN: Addison! Got time to chat?
ADDISON: Yeah, Sheridan, what’s up?
SHERIDAN: My favorite local TV show, High School Dance Heroes, is holding open auditions for new dance crews that want to compete… And I think our school should totally enter!
ADDISON: Cool! Sounds like fun! So when is your crew auditioning for High School Dance Heroes?
SHERIDAN: The auditions are just around the corner… But as far as a crew goes, I haven’t had much luck persuading other students to sign up. So far, we only have two members.
ADDISON: ...I’m the other member, aren’t I?
SHERIDAN: I knew you’d say yes! Do you think you can help me recruit some more dancers?

[ Have a Guy Dancer, Have a Girl Dancer, Have 8 Different Types of Classmate | None | 600c ]

ADDISON: Sheridan, what do you think about the new recruits?
SHERIDAN: Good synchronization, good memorization… and they’ve got their dance moves down! Brace yourself… I think we might actually have a winning dance crew on our hands!
ADDISON: Are we ready to audition for High School Dance Heroes?
SHERIDAN: We would be. The only problem is that our practice area is way too small to get everyone moving at the same time. I tried to Raise the Roof, but it was more like Bang My Elbows. And I’m not even going to tell you what happened when I tried to do the splits.
ADDISON: Now that you mention it, it IS kind of cramped…

[ Add a plot of land, Spend 6000 coins | None | 25b ]

SHERIDAN: This spot is perfect, Addison! There’s plenty of room to work on front flips, and I love the floor-to-ceiling mirrors and sprung floors…
ADDISON: So we’ll be able to practice here?
SHERIDAN: I think so. Stand back, and we’ll find out!
ADDISON: Whoa… that was a crazy handstand! With moves like that we definitely have a shot at getting onto High School Dance Heroes!
SHERIDAN: Good news, Addison! We did it! I submitted an audition tape of our dance crew performing in our new practice space… and we were accepted onto High School Dance Heroes!
ADDISON: Awesome! I bet the judges will flip when we perform our routine!
SHERIDAN: Unfortunately, things aren’t quite that simple… The competition is spread across three episodes, and the judges love to mix it up with last-minute challenges!
ADDISON: ...challenges?
SHERIDAN: In the first episode, we’re supposed to incorporate ballroom dance moves into our routine.
ADDISON: What’s the big deal? You know how to ballroom dance, right?
SHERIDAN: Sure, I know MOVES, but winning High School Dance Heroes takes way more than just knowing where to put your feet… You need to capture the DRAMA of the dance!

[ Sheridan, An Actor, An Actor (Laurie, Riley) | 6h | 800c ]

SHERIDAN: Whoa! I didn’t know Laurie and Riley knew how to dance like that!
ADDISON: Turns out a lot of Shakespeare plays have party sequences, and the actors have to dance in the background…
LAURIE: Addison doth speak verily! As a consequence of our theatrical avocation, we’ve learnt dances like the pavane, the galliarde, the jig…
RILEY: Not to mention the flopdizzy and the pigtickle!
ADDISON: Um, let’s keep the pig-tickling to a minimum…
SHERIDAN: Would you guys be willing to join our crew and teach the rest of us how to inject some drama into our ballroom dancing?
LAURIE: Certainly! Now take my hand. And one, and two… you’ve got it!
SHERIDAN: That’s good news… because High School Dance Heroes is starting any second now! Okay, everyone, the show is starting! Let’s begin our routine with a cursy, then do a synchronized body wave… Now circle around me as I slide into an armchair freeze for the big finish!
The crowd applauds!
ADDISON: Whoo! That was fun!
RILEY: Forsooth! The spotlight has an allure!
SHERIDAN: The judges loved us! Not only did they advance us to the next round, but they singled out our devotion to period authenticity!
LAURIE: Well, you know, every truly incredible performance does begin from a place of truth.
SHERIDAN: Oh no. Oh, this is not good.
ADDISON: What’s wrong?
SHERIDAN: I just saw who we’re competing against in the next round… and I’ve got some serious history with one of our rivals!
ADDISON: Dancing history or dating history?
SHERIDAN: ...both? Ugh, this is totally messing with my headspace. How am I going to be able to focus on tangoing when I’ve got to look at my ex?!
ADDISON: Can’t you just focus on the moves?
SHERIDAN: The tango is more than just some steps! It’s a whole attitude! Dancing the tango is like making out in a lightning storm!
ADDISON: Dangerous and inappropriate?
SHERIDAN: No! If you do it right, sparks fly!
ADDISON: Sounds pretty intense!
SHERIDAN: It is… or it SHOULD be. But right now, all I can focus on is my ex!
ADDISON: Sounds like you could use some new romance in your life!

[ Complete a Successful Date with Sheridan | None | 1000c ]

SHERIDAN: Ooh! My heart is dropping mad beats, and my feet can’t stop tapping to the rhythm…
ADDISON: I take it the date went well?
SHERIDAN: So well that I’ve got passion to burn! I am SO ready to show my ex just how over it I am!
ADDISON: That’s the spirit!
SHERIDAN: Let’s hit the dance floor and show those judges that it takes a CREW to tango…
And so, on the set of High School Dance Heroes…
SHERIDAN: One… two… now take it smooth… Get low, get close… and do an air kiss for the finish!
The crowd applauds!
ADDISON: Who knew slow dancing could be so… sensual?
SHERIDAN: The judges were fanning themselves and talking about how steamy our routine was. We’re definitely advancing to the final episode of the competition!
ADDISON: We aced the tango, so I’m sure we can handle whatever the judges decide to throw at us in Round 3!
SHERIDAN: Yeah we did! Too bad my ex made the cut as well. We’ll be going head-to-head in the final, ultimate, end-of-the-line challenge!
ADDISON: That sounds… not easy…
SHERIDAN: We’re supposed to put together an original dance routine that showcases our school’s diversity… But how do we even begin to do that?
ADDISON: Hmm… I think we should go right to the source!

[ A Level 5+ Cheerleader, A Level 4+ Artist, A Level 4+ Filmmaker (Emery, Avery, Morgan) | 10h | 5r ]

SHERIDAN: OMG, Addison! All of these people want to help with our dance routine?
ADDISON: Yep! And I think they have some pretty good ideas!
EMERY: Cheerleading is basically dancing, only way more vertical! I can definitely teach everyone how to make a pyramid!
AVERY: I could demonstrate some dance steps that express the moods of having a crush on somebody cute!
MORGAN: I watched every major dance movie ever made in chronological order! Things got pretty weird in the 70s, not gonna lie.
ADDISON: And that’s not all! The jocks are ready to Zumba, the nerds are ready to dance the Robot--or was that ready to MAKE a dancing robot? The point is… these guys are going to make this dance routine the best that High School Dance Heroes has ever seen!
SHERIDAN: Then what are we waiting for? Let’s dance! Okay, everybody, the whole world is watching. Time to show them the best dance routine ever!
EMERY: Ready and… build a pyramid!
AVERY: Now move freely, expressing your emotions!
MORGAN: Then swing your partner in time to the music, and remember to smile for the camera!
The crew spins, flips, and moonwalks, perfectly in sync!
SHERIDAN: And for the big finish, everyone stand back while I do my patented backflip to spin to Planche!
The crowd leaps to their feet to deliver a standing ovation!
ADDISON: How’d we do?
SHERIDAN: Judging by the deafening applause, the crowd LOVED us! And so did the judges! We crushed my ex… which makes us the new High School Dance Heroes champions!
EMERY: Duh… anything cheerleaders do is bound to be a big hit!
AVERY: The trophy really is quite aesthetically pleasing…
MORGAN: And the video of it came out really well, too!
SHERIDAN: Thanks so much, Addison! We couldn’t have won the Dance Heroes trophy without all your help.
ADDISON: Don’t worry about it! Just tell me, did you get a chance to say anything to your ex?
SHERIDAN: Actually, I did… I got to say ‘not a chance’ when my ex asked if we could get back together!
ADDISON: Awesome.
SHERIDAN: Thanks for everything, Addison! If you ever need a backup dancer, you know who to call!
